CONCEPTUAL DESIGN FOR INNER SEMI RING ROAD, SECTOR III

BELGRADE, SERBIA

Project included development of the different alternatives for road section with all infrastructure including (water utilities, gas and heating pipelines, electrical and telecom installations) and landscaping.

Project description

As part of city authorities’ efforts to improve road network it is concluded that new conceptual solution is needed for the Inner Semi Ring Road (ISRR), Sector III. Alternatives have been developed as part of this service that considered all major impacts, acceptable from the standpoint of urban traffic, taking into account financial and operation factors, special and environmental factors as well as the protection of the environment.

In order to develop this conceptual design for the ISRR, Sector 3, it was necessary to carry out field investigations with geotechnical study, including the review and analysis of the results. Traffic study have been developed following traffic surveys that provided input for development of alternatives. With all inputs provided multiple alternatives were analyzed and compared based on the previously agreed criteria.

For the optimal variants Conceptual Design was developed for traffic area, structures, hydro-technical installations, power supply installations, telecommunication installations, mechanical installations and green areas.
