Project included reconstruction of the existing junction into multi-level junction with concrete dual carriageway flyover. Different alternatives for junction design and management were tested as part of this project in microsimulation model made in PTV VISSIM. For adopted alternative following designs were made: design of the road flyover, embankment with structures, drainage, lighting and traffic signalization with traffic lights.
Road infrastructure is designed taking into account needs of all road users, so that roads and vehicles together provide an effective and safe system. Traffic signs, road markings and safety barriers have been designed in order to convey clear message to all of the road user.
