BELGRADE WATERFRONT SHOPPING MALL
Project included all design stages, from Concept, Schematic up to the Design for Construction, TIS and all following analysis required by regulation
In the Belgrade historic city center new development is under construction in place of existing railway station which covers area of 98 ha. New development called Belgrade Waterfront (BW) will provide 1.8 million square meters of new mixed use land. As a part of new development construction of world-class shopping mall it is planned to develop one of the largest and highly regarded shopping malls in the world. Beside mall, as part of this development construction of hotel, residential towers are planned, which together comprises 360,000 m2 of GFA. Parking for visitors is planned to be provided in 2 level underground and 7 level deck parking garages which commend will have capacity of approximately 6,000 parking places.
As a part of the assignment TIS is provided for the shopping mall which analyzed detailed impact of new development on existing and planned street network in different phases of the project development. One of the goals of TIS was not to seek solution that only allows people to access and leave the mall, but solution that will give visitors the sense that they are visiting a world-class mall.

Shopping mall is the biggest traffic generator within the BW development. It is located in the central area of the BW plot.
